Dominika Kedzierska (born June 25, 1996) is a Polish painter. She has developed a unique style characterized by muted colors and a perfect approach to detail. Inspired by Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt, she creates works depicting both the beauty of women and nature. The paintings are filled with tranquility, and the portraits she paints reveal the sensitive, spiritual side of the artist. Dominika Kedzierska has participated in numerous auctions, and her works have found a place in many private collections.
The art I create is born out of a desire to share beauty with the viewer. Artistic creation allows expressing aspects of femininity and exploring one's own emotional sphere. Imaging beauty through painting is a form of spiritual practice for me, and the satisfaction derived from the positive effect exerted on the viewer inspires me to continue working. When creating, I try to present a whole range of emotions. By juxtaposing women's portraits with elements of nature (like the changing seasons), I experience both my own transformational cycles and synchronize myself with the world around me on a daily basis. I strive to perceive harmony in both obvious beauty and that which is transient, and made visible in the ever-renewing nature. I would like communing with my art to be as calming as contact with nature, and the states of the female interior I depict to become a mirror of self-reflection for the viewer.
