Grzegorz Ratajczyk
Born in 1960 in Krotoszyn. In 1970-75 he studied at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Poznań (currently the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Poznań). In 1980-85, he studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań (presently, the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań) at the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Arts, and Sculpture, majoring in painting. In 1985, he defended his diploma with honors in the studio of Professor N. Skupniewicz.

Biography

Painter, graphic artist and draughtsman. Born in 1960 in Krotoszyn. In 1970-75 he studied at the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Poznań (currently the Secondary School of Fine Arts in Poznań). In 1980-85, he studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Poznań (presently, the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań) at the Faculty of Painting, Graphic Arts, and Sculpture, majoring in painting. In 1985, he defended his diploma with honors in the studio of Professor N. Skupniewicz. In 1986, received the M. Dokowicz Creative Foreign Scholarship for the most talented graduate. Since 1985, he has worked at his native university. Since 2011, he has led the 13th Studio of Painting at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing. In 2014, he was awarded the title of Professor of Visual Arts. Author of several dozen individual exhibitions, participant of numerous group exhibitions and plein-air painting workshops in Poland and abroad.
