Biography

An illustrator, painter and graphic artist born in Varna. Between 1992 and 1995, he studied under Yavor Tsanev, a Bulgarian painter and graphic artist. From 1996 to 2001, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He obtained his diploma in the woodcut studio under Prof. Zbigniew Lutomski. He has taken part in numerous group exhibitions, both in Poland and abroad.
An artist open to the world of symbols and myths, alongside his graphic work he also practises painting, most often using traditional techniques such as egg tempera, watercolour and gouache. In his work, he draws on archetypes and symbols deeply rooted in our imagination, whilst bringing together many eras and cultures. Fascinated, among other things, by the Italian Quattrocento and the painting of Mughal India, he creates his own unique world, drawing on the painting traditions of both East and West.
