"In my paintings, or more generally, in my art, I pursue order and harmony. I often think about the endlessness and continuity and about the things that are already behind and the ones that we experience right now. I try for my paintings to be simple, synthetic and want those pivotal factors to contribute to their power. Therefore, I simplify, remove, clean… Planes of color, light and form, I want to make them perfect. I construct my painting using the simplest elements – planes and lines. And often differentiate the texture using a kind of frottage." - Piotr Błażejewski
