Jan Dubrowin
He studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz (now the Academy of Fine Arts). He received his diploma in unique textiles and painting in 1981, in the studio of Antoni Starczewski and Wieslaw Garbolinski.

He was born in 1957 in Piotrkow Trybunalski.
He studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz (now the Academy of Fine Arts). He received his diploma in unique textiles and painting in 1981, in the studio of Antoni Starczewski and Wieslaw Garbolinski. He received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. From 1991 to 1993 he was a lecturer in painting and drawing at Schola Posnaniensis in Poznań. He has repeatedly presented his work in individual and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including Rzeszow, Tarnow, Poznan, Nowy Sacz, Kalisz, Sieradz, Bielsko-Biala, Radom, Warsaw, Lodz, Torun, Belchatow, Szczecin, Wisla, M ikolo, Kostroma, Esslingen, Girona, Rivne, Prague. He has participated in many plein-air painting and post-plein-air exhibitions. He has won prizes and awards, among others, in national painting competitions in Rzeszów and Piotrko¬wie Trybunalski. He actively participates in the cultural life of his city and takes part in all environmental exhibitions. In 2006, on the occasion of the jubilee of 25 years of creative work, he was awarded the "Bronze Medal for Merits to the City of Piotrków Trybunalski".
