Polish artist and art restorer, born and educated in Warsaw; currently living and working in Cairo.
Biography

Polish artist and art restorer, born and educated in Warsaw; currently living and working in Cairo. The artist is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree with honors from the Department of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art in 2002. For her project "Conservation and Restoration of Egyptian Cartonage," she received the Academy of Fine Arts Rector's Award for the best diploma of the year in applied arts, as well as the Special Award of the Association of Art Historians. She completed an annex to her diploma in painting in the studio of Prof. Danuta Makowska.
From 2002 to 2009, Izabela continued to work with the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts as an assistant in the Department of Conservation of Easel Painting and Polychrome Sculpture.
She was twice awarded the Academy of Fine Arts Rector's Award in 2004 and 2007 for her creative and teaching achievements.
Since 1999, she has been actively engaged in artistic and scientific activities in the Middle East, collaborating with the Center for Mediterranean Archaeology at the University of Warsaw, the Ministry of Antiquities and the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, Waseda University, JAICA and the Great Museum of Giza. She has participated
and continues to participate in numerous scientific research projects related to the conservation and restoration of antiquities in Egypt, Lebanon and Syria. From 2012-2016, she worked as a lecturer at the Al-Alsun Institute of Linguistics at Ain Shams University in Cairo.
From 2002 to 2009, Izabela continued to work with the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts as an assistant in the Department of Conservation of Easel Painting and Polychrome Sculpture.
