PAINT AND RUST is a double exhibition. We will see spectacular sculptures by Mariola Wawrzusiak-Borcz and unique paintings by Kamil Stanczak.

The opening on May 14, 2023 at 5 pm will open with a screening of the award-winning 2020 film Rust, directed by Rafal Malecki. It is a realization documenting the portrait of sculptor Mariola Wawrzusiak-Borcz, which introduces us to the intimate world of the creative process and the inspiration provided to the artist by nature.

It is this fascination reflected in the works on display that connects Mariola Wawrzusiak-Borcz's sculptures and Kamil Stanczak's paintings. The exhibition space is arranged in a way that allows visitors to interact with sculptures of more than life-size owls in a setting of modern buildings.

This unusual combination is an interesting contrast between the spirit of nature and modern architecture. Meanwhile, Kamil Stanczak's paintings, by combining landscape with abstract elements, create unique compositions that stimulate our creativity. Here, too, there will be owls in surprising unveilings and unusual magnetic and moving pictures. The exhibition makes us reflect on the harmony, balance and beauty found in nature.
