We would like to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Abstractions at Arte Hotel in Zamosc, Rynek Wielki 9 Street.

"It's a peculiar paradox - abstract art has been present in the art world for more than a century, and there are still times when it is troubled by the wider public. How many times have I heard: I don't understand, I don't know what the painting is about, what the painting is about....
Of course, it is easy to understand a certain uneasiness among viewers who do not see specific objects or landscapes and have a sense of confusion and ask what it is they are dealing with right now?

Encounters of colors, clashes of geometric forms, storms of color spots, vibrations of lines, fields of smoothly laid or, on the contrary, relief paints - for artists become completely sufficient subjects for complete painterly and compositional encounters. This is completely sufficient for artists and, what's more, it is completely satisfying for them, the formal side of painting can turn into the whole content and the whole message for viewers.
Abstractions can be endless. We have already learned quite a lot, but there is still much to come, artists are still coming up with new ideas. Art does not stand still and is still trying to find other ways, to make new formal solutions, new ways to solve the puzzle of the image, and there are as many ideas as there are artists."

The exhibition features works by Michał Bogucki, Bea Guillemot, Daniel Krysty, Ada Marciniak, Sebastian Skoczylas, Urszula Ślusarczyk and Marek Wrzesiński.
