Anna Taut
She graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2009. Since 2017 she has been studying at the Faculty of Painting of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She lives and works in Berlin on a daily basis.

She has won many awards, including the Grand Prix of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the Still Life Triennial in 2012, the award of the Polish Contemporary Painting Festival in Szczecin in 2016 and the award of the "Materia medicinalis Materia artificialis" competition in 2011. She participated in many solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including in : PGS in Sopot, El Gallery in Elbląg, BWA in Szczecin, Urban Spree Gallery in Berlin, FridaNormaJane Gallery in Herten. He is also involved in the interference in space through the art of murals. Together with Adam Romuald Kłodecki (Theosone) he co-creates ATAK crew - a collective dealing with street art.

She has won many awards, including the Grand Prix of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the Still Life Triennial in 2012, the award of the Polish Contemporary Painting Festival in Szczecin in 2016 and the award of the "Materia medicinalis Materia artificialis" competition in 2011. In his work Taut deals with the problems of the human condition in relation to the surrounding reality. He juxtaposes his characters with spaces, objects or painting forms, placing the viewer in the position of a quiet observer. The artist, drawing on nature and the contemporary world, influences me by building my painting around extremes. She juxtaposes figurative representations with abstract forms, varied spots with colour spots or rigorously worked out geometries with expressive creations. On the one hand, this painting is beautiful and magnetizing, on the other - oppressive and uncomfortable, filled with a feeling of the inevitable coming, like silence before a storm. Her pictures evoke in the viewer a strange sense of knowledge and intimacy, just as much as a distanced consternation leading to surrealism. They are like a memory, like a flashback, a spectre and the reverberation of a picture after a sudden awakening from a deep sleep.

"(...) I am talking about man, about his condition in relation to the surrounding world. I like to confront him with different spaces, forms, involve him in different relations, observe and react to the result. In a painted painting I am looking for a certain feeling, a state that I do not call, but I consistently strive to present it. Painting should move/move/impact. When is art good? When it is strong. When you can't tear yourself away from it. When it works. "
