Urszula Ślusarczyk

Biography
Studied at the Institute of Artistic Education of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, graduated in 1994. Employed as a professor of art at the Institute of Visual Arts of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in 2000. Organizer of conferences and problem exhibitions including "Nature of Nature" in 2001 and 2003/04. Author of more than 50 solo exhibitions and participant in more than 200 group exhibitions at home and abroad. Since 2015, she has participated in the International Plein-Air for Artists Using the Language of Geometry and in post-plein-air exhibitions curated by Bożena Kowalska. Works in public and private collections in the country, including the Nadwiślańskie Museum in Kazimierz Dolny, the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Lublin, the Mazovian Center for Contemporary Art "Elektrownia" in Radom, Gallery 72 of the Museum of Chełm Land in Chełm and abroad: Italy, France, Spain, Slovenia, Germany, Mexico and the USA.
