Biography
I was born in Okhtyrka, a small town in Sumy region, Ukraine in 1993. I am a graduate of Kharkiv College of Art and Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts. For the past ten years, I have been making paintings in a small workshop in the centre of Kharkiv.
There have been periods when I was focused on plein air paintings. I took up landscape painting because I saw some kind of spatial logic between objects that make up a live system of interconnected organisms.
Time, and specifically moment of time, are yet other matters of interest to me. I explore these subjects in some of my collections of paintings.
Because I have the realist school of painting under my belt, it influences all of my artworks. I pay particular attention to color scheme because that's the first thing that strikes the eye of a viewer.
