Leszek Żegalski
Began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, later moving to the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, receiving his diploma in 1984. He was a student of Matejko, Duchamp and Jerzy Duda- Gracz.

Biography
Born in 1959 in Cieszyn. He began his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, later moving to the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, receiving his diploma in 1984. He was a student of Matejko, Duchamp and Jerzy Duda- Gracz. He was a co-founder of the "Tercet of the Inflated." In the 1980s, he and the group promulgated provocative art manifestos and also published the art magazine "Bengal." Once with the Tercet, he was a forerunner in the use of advertising for the purpose of promoting his own art, e.g. on radio "Three" and in art magazines. In 1988, he received the Grand Prix of the National Exhibition of Young Art "Arsenal 88". In the same year he goes to Germany and this period is filled with intensive creative and exhibition work. He is a member of the Association of Realist Painters - "Kuenstlersonderbund in Deutschland. Realismus der Gegenwart"- an organization of figurative painters. He lived in Belgium, Germany and Poland. He does easel painting, plafond painting, fresco painting. He is a representative of a trend in art called "existential neorealism". He has participated in more than 400 exhibitions in Europe, the USA, Canada, Japan,
including major art events such as the BIAF Art Fair in Barcelona, the Basel Art Fair, the annual figurative painting exhibition "Figuration Critique" at the Grand Palais in Paris, the 1.Realismus-Triennale in Berlin. He works in Berlin and in his palace in Lower Silesia.
