
Włodzimierz Krężlewicz
Born in 1968 in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He defended his diploma in Professor Labedzki's studio in 1995.
Biography

Born in 1968 in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. He defended his diploma in Professor Labedzki's studio in 1995. His paintings participated in traveling exhibitions promoting his alma mater. He works in drawing and painting. His works hang permanently in the Copernicus Science Center. In 2008-2010 he published drawings, prints and collages in the Weekly Review. In 2010 he was nominated for cartoonist of the year organized by Humorfest. In 2013 he won a satirical competition organized by the Museum of Caricature in Warsaw. He is the author of murals in Warsaw spaces painted for RK Legal, located in Praga's Koneser district and on the facade and interior of the former Relax cinema. His works appear regularly in the capital's galleries. Since 2016, he has been working with STALOWA Gallery. His favorite motifs include Warsaw themes, portraits of women, rain motifs, surrealistic shots or impasto-painted abstractions. She specializes in acrylic painting, and enjoys painting with a spatula, as well as applying paint by spraying with a brush on the canvas.
