Born in 1961 in Olafsfjördur, Iceland, 66° degrees north in the North-Atlantic ocean. He moved shortly after that to Sweden with his family were the artist spent his younger years. As a young man he came back to Iceland where he studied fine arts for 5 years and graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Reykjavik. Has he then been working as an artist mainly with painting. Bui has also been involved with design on a broad perspective, building, furniture, graphic, books, comics and illustrations. The artist lives and works in Reykjavik Iceland.
