Marek Wrzesiński
He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Master's thesis was realized in 2005 in the IV Painting Studio of Prof. Maciej Swieszewski, annex in the Drawing Studio of Prof. Maria Targońska and Wall Painting under the direction of Prof. Andrzej Dyakowski.
Since 2019, he has served as Vice-Dean for the Faculty of Painting. Since 2020, he has served as Dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is currently Head of the Second Studio of Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting in the Department of Basic Education at the Faculty of Painting.

Biography

Born in 1978 in Brodnica. He is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Master's thesis was realized in 2005 in the IV Painting Studio of Prof. Maciej Swieszewski, annex in the Drawing Studio of Prof. Maria Targońska and Wall Painting under the direction of Prof. Andrzej Dyakowski.
Since 2006, he was employed as an assistant in the 2nd Painting Studio of Prof. Teresa Miszkin at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Since 2017, he was employed as an assistant professor. Since 2020, he has been employed as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In June 2012, he received the degree of Doctor of Arts, and in December 2019, the degree of Doctor of Arts in the field of art, discipline of fine arts and art conservation.
Since 2016, he has served as Vice-Dean for Artistic and Scientific Affairs of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. Since 2019, he has served as Vice-Dean for the Faculty of Painting. Since 2020, he has served as Dean of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is currently Head of the Second Studio of Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting in the Department of Basic Education at the Faculty of Painting.
