Mushroom pickers' meeting

Disturbing events occurred this week in the Iława District.
Two groups of mushroom fanatics clashed with each other
in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Herald reporters have learned unofficially that it was about
spheres of influence.
The representatives of the 'Suszone Szatany' group from Susz
accuse their opponents from the 'KG Pieczarka Iława' group
of trespassing on the gathering areas and disrespecting the
tradition of reserving mushrooms. The conflict arose over
the so-called ' kite issue.'
'On Thursday, I reserved parasol mushrooms with great po-
tential. But when the Satans and I went out to harvest on
the weekend, all we found were empty patches of trampled
grass. It's those bastards from Iława!!!'' a picker wishing to
remain anonymous told us.
More than twenty people were involved in the clash, and
four were hospitalised, including three due to symptoms of
mushroom poisoning.
