Description

All of Poland is talking about Emilcin

UFO-hunting enthusiasts are flocking to a small village in the
Lubelskie Voivodeship. They have come from all over the country
and even abroad!
All because of an alleged abduction by an alien civilisation.
Farmer Jan Kolski disappeared on August 20th under un-
explained circumstances. The case was reported to the Herald
by a concerned wife when she did not find her husband in the
family field.
'Janek was supposed to be repairing a broken combine that
afternoon,' Mrs Kolska told us.
All that appeared before her eyes was a circle of ploughed field and
a combine bulbulator stuck in the ground, which had probably
fallen out of the farmer's hands while he was levitating. The
inhabitants of Emilcin were quick to associate these similarities
with the events of 1978 and began spreading the news. Some
are already rubbing their hands together, contemplating ways
to capitalise on the event.
In Emilcin, 'Not of this Earth' kebab stands, plutonium-infused
ice-cream stalls and a camping site named after Biełka and
Striełka have sprung up like wildfire.
Autochthonies are hoping that the village will become
a second Roswell. A proposal has already been submitted to
the municipality to rename the village 'Emilcin in the Circle
of Secrets'. Mrs Kolska, on the other hand, expresses hope that
strangers will return her husband in the near future, as the
couple has a stay booked at a sanatorium in Szczawnica for
September.
We wish Mr Kolski a speedy descent from the clouds to earth,
and we encourage our readers to take a trip to Emilcin – while
the tour is still free.
