Description
The text in the circle is a biblical description of the third day of creation: "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth..." (Genesis 1:11-13). By the trees: "Tree of Life," "Tree of Knowledge." At the top: "Garden of Eden." Thus, according to the words of the Torah, there was then a world of plants, and according to the commentaries, also a paradise with the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge.
